Hostal Costa Blanca is in Figueretas, the beach neighbourhood right next to the centre of Ibiza. It is an unusual spot: step out of the hostel, cross onto the seafront promenade and you are on the sand in a minute — while Dalt Vila and the port are still within walking distance, with no taxi or car needed.
A town beach with a seafront promenade, the closest one to the city and the easiest if you would rather not depend on transport. Boats to Formentera leave from here, so the trip to the neighbouring island does not require going down to the port first.
Ibiza’s walled old town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is just over a kilometre away. You can walk up to the Cathedral, 0.7 km from the hostel, with the port and the bay below.
The port of Ibiza is 1.1 km away and Botafoch marina 1.7 km. The best-known clubs are close by — Pachá at 2 km and Santos Ibiza Coast Club at 2.4 km — so a night out does not mean long journeys.
The nearest bus stop is about a ten-minute walk away. There is paid public parking nearby, which cannot be booked in advance.
